New Orleans – The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in located the subject(s) involved in a theft incident that occurred in the Third District.
On May 9, 2020 at around 11:00 p.m., the owner of a 15 foot “Big Tex” trailer secured it with a chain to the rear of his Chevy Silverado parked at a home in the 5100 block of Metropolitan Drive. On May 10th, the owner discovered the chain was cut and the trailer was missing. Investigators observed on surveillance video the pictured U-haul truck and dark pick-up truck arrive around 5:59 a.m. at the home. Soon after, both vehicles left with the trailer attached to the U-haul truck.
