NOPD Investigating Third District Auto Theft

The NOPD is investigating a reported auto theft that occurred on May 14, 2020 in the 3900 block of Hollygrove Street.

The victim reported parking his black 2017 Nissan Sentra bearing Louisiana License plate 711BBH in the rear driveway of his home at about 11:00 p.m. on May 14. The vehicle was locked and secured; however, the keys were left under the sun visor at the time the victim exited his vehicle. On the morning of May 15, the victim observed his vehicle missing from the rear driveway where it had been parked. The vehicle was reported to have severe rear-end damage, a bent axel, bent tie rod and a fuel leak, all of which made the vehicle hardly operable.

For reference purposes, a photo is included of a vehicle similar in color, year, make and model to the reported stolen vehicle.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Third District detectives at 504-658-6030 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
