NOPD Investigates Homicide in Fourth District
The NOPD is investigating a homicide that left one dead and two others injured in the Fourth District.
 
On Monday, May 11, 2020 around 7:20 p.m., NOPD officers responded to reports of an aggravated battery by shooting near the intersection of Lebouf Street and Vespasian Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered one adult male, one adult female and one juvenile male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The adult male victim was pronounced deceased on scene. The female and juvenile victim were transported to an area hospital. 
 
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as a motive.
