Felon Arrested after Possessing Firearm in Fourth District

NOPD officers arrested Wayne Dillon (DOB: 01/02/1983) after he was found in possession of a firearm while on active felony probation in the 3600 block of Garden Oaks Drive.

On May 21, 2020 around 12:07 a.m., Fourth District officers responded to a call of shots fired at the location. Upon arrival, officers observed Dillon making verbal threats to shoot another individual.

Dillon was apprehended and transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center where he was booked in violation of a felon in possession of a firearm.
