Suspect Identified in Fourth District Assault, Battery, Theft Incident

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Marcus Theodore (DOB: 12-01-1991) in connection with an incident that occurred on April 26, 2019 in the 5500 block of Tullis Drive.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives determined that Theodore was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim. During this altercation, Theodore is believed to have produced a pair of scissors and cut the victim’s hair, damaged property inside the residence and took the victim’s vehicle keys and vehicle, a silver 2018 Nissan Murano. Theodore reportedly returned to the residence and kicked in the front door, damaging the door frame before fleeing the scene. Theodore then allegedly sent the victim several threatening text messages.

When located, Theodore will be arrested for two counts of criminal damage to property and one count each of battery of a dating partner, simple assault and unauthorized use of a moveable.
