Suspect Identified by NOPD in Fourth District Shooting

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Shayne Davis (DOB: 06-30-1988) in the investigation of a shooting that occurred in the 900 block of LeBeouf Street on May 5, 2019.

At approximately 2:31 p.m., Davis was reportedly observed discharging a firearm at the victim outside a local business in the 900 block of LeBoeuf Street. The victim was struck multiple times, but the injuries were non-life threatening.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives determined Davis to be the perpetrator in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest. When located, Davis will be arrested for aggravated battery by shooting.
