Suspect Arrested for Drug, Firearm Charges in Fourth District

The NOPD has arrested Kelvin Francis (DOB: 06-11-1957) on drug and firearm charges after being located in the1200 block of Michael Street on April 29, 2019.

Fourth District Task Force officers served a search warrant at a residence 1200 block of Michael Street. The warrant yielded approximately 400 grams of marijuana, 60 tramadol tablets three handguns and one shotgun.   

Francis was arrested at the location and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of Tramadol with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm while in possession of narcotics.
