The NOPD is seeking to locate multiple suspects believed to be responsible for several vehicle burglaries in the Third District on May 19, 2019.

At about 9:00 a.m., a victim in the 4900 block of Moore Street reported finding his vehicle’s driver’s side window shattered and his vehicle ransacked. A review of surveillance video showed that about 12:19 a.m., an unknown dark colored SUV pulled up next to his vehicle. An unknown black male was then seen exiting the vehicle and pulling on the door handle of his wife’s vehicle, which was locked and secured. The subject was then seen re-approaching the victim’s vehicle before re-entering the dark-colored SUV and fleeing the scene.

Detectives believed that this vehicle and its occupants are possibly responsible for additional vehicle burglary incidents in the area.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents or the identities/whereabouts of those responsible is asked to contact NOPD Third District detectives at 504-658-6030, or to call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
