The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a subject who is accused of committing a simple burglary in the 5900 block of Louis XIV Street on May 17, 2019.
The victim stated that an unknown white male arrived in front of the unoccupied residence in a white pick-up truck and proceeded to a pile of building materials that were placed in the front yard. The subject reportedly picked up several metal items and placed them in the back of his vehicle.
The subject was also observed on surveillance video entering the victim’s home and exiting with several items, before fleeing the scene.
