The NOPD is investigating a reported vehicle theft incident which occurred on May 6, 2019 in the 3700 block of Garden Oaks Drive.
At approximately 11:45 p.m., the victim parked his 1999 Honda Accord bearing a Louisiana temporary license tag in an apartment complex in the 3700 block of Garden Oaks Drive. The victim left the keys in the ignition with the vehicle running as he entered an apartment. Approximately two minutes later, the victim returned to where his vehicle was parked and discovered his vehicle was missing.
A photo is included of the actual reported stolen vehicle in this incident, which is also said to be missing its rear bumper.
