NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Rape

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Lonnie Kahoe in the investigation of an aggravated rape reported in the 4200 block of South Carrollton Avenue on May 19, 2019.

Responding officers met with the reporting victim, who told police that she had been sexually assaulted. Through investigation, NOPD Special Victims Section Sex Crime Unit detectives were able to develop Kahoe as the perpetrator of this incident and obtain a warrant for his arrest.

When located, Kahoe will be arrested for first degree rape, aggravated burglary and extortion. In addition, a warrant was also issued for a DNA sample from Kahoe.
