NOPD officers have arrested Kyrin Knatt (DOB: 04/24/2001) after he was found in possession of a vehicle that was reported stolen during an armed carjacking that occurred on May 17, 2019 in the 4100 block of South Liberty Street.
On May 22, 2019, Seventh District officers responded to a suspicious person call in the 6200 block of Kuebel Drive. Upon arrival, officers learned that a black male was seen exiting a possible stolen vehicle.
Officers canvassed the area and located the subject matching the description given by the dispatcher. Knatt was positively identified as the subject who was observed driving and exiting the stolen vehicle.
The subject was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center and booked accordingly.
