Vehicle of Interest Sought in Aggravated Assault on South Carrollton Avenue

The NOPD is searching for a male subject seen driving the pictured vehicle during a reported aggravated assault with a firearm at a restaurant in the 3400 block of South Carrollton Avenue.

The incident happened on May 29, 2018. At about 8:06 p.m., five unknown black male subjects in a gray Nissan Altima ordered food at a McDonald's restaurant drive-thru window. While inspecting the order, the driver informed employees that they were missing an item. The employees inspected the order and confirmed it was correct. At that time, the driver reportedly became irate, produced a firearm and threatened the employees before fleeing the location in the vehicle.

The driver is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s with a beard, “Rick Ross sideburns” and uneven skin. He and the front passenger were both wearing white tank tops at the time of the incident.

The vehicle has a temporary license plate tag in the upper left corner of the rear windshield (possibly beginning with the numbers 1784 and ending with a 1). The vehicle also has factory rims and no tint.

Anyone with any information regarding the location of the vehicle or subjects should contact any Second District Investigative Unit at 504-658-6020. Citizens with information that can help solve a crime are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
