The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Marion Avila (DOB: 03-20-2001) in connection with a residence burglary which occurred on May 5, 2018 in the 6100 block of Bundy Road.
The victim told police that at about 8:30 a.m., he left his residence with his family. Upon returning at about 2:30 p.m., he observed his front window broken. A neighbor told the victim that she saw someone exit the house. The victim discovered his safe was missing from the residence and said he knew the individual in question, identifying him as Avila. The victim said he contacted Avila, who reportedly demanded $400 to return the safe to the victim.
