NOPD VOWS Unit Arrest Suspect in Aggravated Battery by Cutting Incident

The NOPD VOWS Unit arrested Jacquelyn Ward (DOB: 11-23-1971) in connection with an aggravated battery by cutting incident that occurred on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in the 1100 block of South Carrollton Avenue.

The victim was reportedly attacked by Ward after seeing him in a vehicle with another female. The subject approached the victim’s vehicle, slashed his tires and then cut him with the knife.

Ward was wanted by Second District Detective Matthew Connolly. She was located today (May 30) in the 2100 block of Benefit Street. The subject was transported to Central Lockup where she was booked accordingly.
