The NOPD is seeking the assistance of the public in locating and identifying a subject wanted in the theft of a tip jar from a business in the 2600 block of Magazine Street on April 27, 2018.
The reporting person told police that he had previously hired an unknown black male identified only as “Kevin” to complete small jobs around the business. At about 9:53 p.m. on April 27, the victim said, “Kevin” was reportedly taking out trash from the business when he was seen on surveillance footage taking the tip jar from the counter before fleeing the location.
Kevin is described as a black male possibly in his 20s or 30s with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark colored shorts.
