NOPD Searches for Suspect Wanted in Fourth District Theft Incident

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a subject who is wanted for his involvement in a theft incident that occurred in the 400 block of Behrman Highway.

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at or around 3:25 p.m., the subject was observed on surveillance footage stealing the victim’s wallet which contained her cellphone and debit card. The subject was last observed catching the RTA bus to the Eastbank.

During the investigation, officers learned that the victim’s credit card had been used at a business located on Behrman Highway at or around 3:35 p.m. on the same day the incident occurred.

The perpetrator is described as medium build with a beard, wearing a dark colored hat, an orange shirt and dark colored jeans. The subject is known the frequently loiter in the area.
