The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating a 2009 white Honda NPS550 scooter, bearing Louisiana license plate #MC645199, that was reported stolen in the Eighth District.
On Monday, May 21, 2018, the victim parked his vehicle in the 500 block of Julia Street at 3 p.m. Upon returning to the location the same day at 3:30 p.m., the victim noticed his scooter was missing from the area.
During the investigation, officers reviewed surveillance video and observed an unknown male riding a bike in the area. The subject parked and locked his bike next to the victim’s scooter. He then got onto the victim’s scooter and pushed it down Magazine Street.
