Officers in the Third District are seeking assistance from the public in locating a suspect who is responsible for an auto burglary incident that was reported on Saturday, (May 26).
Video surveillance captured the suspect’s dark colored SUV fleeing the scene of the incident.
The victim told police she parked her gray Kia Sportage in front of her residence, located in the 5300 block of Pratt Drive. She returned to the location at or around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018, and discovered the inside of her vehicle ransacked. The victim reported a GPS and a pair of sunglasses were missing from the vehicle.
During the investigation, officers reviewed surveillance footage which showed the subject stopping his vehicle in the street next to the victim’s vehicle. The subject walked around the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene, heading westbound on Filmore Drive.
