NOPD Arrests Suspect in Stabbing Incident on Lake Forest Boulevard

The NOPD has arrested Earlnisha Jackson (DOB: 12-06-1994) in connection with an aggravated battery by cutting incident that occurred on May 10, 2018, in the 9300 block of Lake Forest Boulevard.

At about 2:05 a.m., Seventh District officers responded to an area hospital in relation to a call of an aggravated battery by cutting victim who had arrived at the location with a stab wound to the chest.

After further investigation, detectives determined that the victim had been stabbed by a female suspect unknown to the victim during an altercation at a business in the 9300 block of Lake Forest Boulevard. Based on available evidence and statements, detectives were able to positively identify Jackson as the perpetrator.

Jackson was located by NOPD Violent Offender Warrant Squad officers today and arrested in the 4900 block of Metropolitan Street. She was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for aggravated second degree battery. In addition, Jackson was arrested as a fugitive from Jefferson Parish on a theft charge.
