The NOPD and State Police have arrested three juvenile male suspects and one 17-year-old male suspect in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the 1600 block of Milton Street on May 13, 2018.

The victim told police that after leaving a family gathering on May 13, he fell asleep inside of his black 2018 GMC Sierra in the 1600 block of Milton Street. He said he was then awakened by four unknown black males, one of whom allegedly opened the driver’s side door and struck him in the face with a black handgun. The suspects then reportedly removed the victim from the vehicle and entered the vehicle, fleeing the scene heading onto Paris Avenue. The victim said his iPhone, wallet and a handgun were located in the vehicle.

Later that day, the stolen vehicle was later located near a residence in the 13900 block of Linden Street. State Police troopers assisted in securing the vehicle and arrested a 15-year-old juvenile male at the scene after the male was found in possession of the reported stolen handgun and the keys to the stolen vehicle. The juvenile arrested on the scene was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center for principle to armed robbery, illegal possession of stolen firearms, possession of a firearm by a juvenile, illegal carrying of a weapon and illegal possession of stolen things.
