NOPD officers and members of the Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) have made multiple arrests so far this month including suspects wanted in connection with such major offenses as armed robbery, aggravated assault, sexual battery and possession of narcotics. Officers also confiscated five firearms.
May 1
Joshua Hatton (DOB: 4/15/1996) for armed robbery with a firearm. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Rex Place and Hatton was apprehended in the 2400 block of South Derbigny Street. Officers also confiscated a semi-automatic Springfield Armory XD 9mm handgun.
VOWS and U.S. Marshals arrested Isky West (DOB: 9/22/1982), Terrell Hudson (DOB: 3/28/1991) and Courtney Robinson (DOB: 1/17/1992) for aggravated battery, simple assault, and simple battery. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of North Broad on April 10, 2017.West and Hudson were arrested at the intersection of Cornell Drive and Barataria Boulevard in Marrero, LA, and Robinson was arrested in the 4100 block of Lac Bienville Drive in Harvey, LA.
Joseph Guillot Jr. (DOB: 1-07-90) for two armed robberies. The incidents occurred at the intersection of South Villere and Cleveland Avenue, and in the 100 block of LaSalle. Guillot was apprehended minutes later on LaSalle Street.
Frederic Jones (DOB: 10-22-84) for possession of schedule I CDS (marijuana), possession of schedule II CDS (crack cocaine), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and illegal carrying of weapons while in possession of narcotics. The incident and the arrest took place at the intersection of Monroe Street and Edinburgh Street.
May 2
Uzziah Dumas (DOB: 2-6-93) for illegal possession of a schedule II CDS (crack cocaine), illegal carrying of weapons while in possession of narcotics, and resisting an officer. The incident occurred at the intersection of Audubon Street and Colapissa Street and Dumas was arrested a short distance away.
Kevin Callens (DOB: 05/24/1995) for armed robbery, aggravated burglary and possession of narcotics. The incidents took place in the 900 block of Pine (April 3 and 11), 2000 block of Broadway (May 2) and the 7900 block of Zimple Street (May 2).
Jeremy Magee (DOB: 3/16/1996) for armed robbery, aggravated burglary, illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of narcotics. The incidents took place in the 900 block of Pine (April 3 and 11), 2000 block of Broadway (May 2) and the 7900 block of Zimple Street (May 2).
Reggie Parkerinson (DOB: 4/19/1994) for armed robbery, aggravated burglary, illegal carrying of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of narcotics. The incidents took place in the 900 block of Pine (April 3 and 11), 2000 block of Broadway (May 2) and the 7900 block of Zimple Street (May 2).
May 3
Carl Henderson (DOB: 4-11-74) for property snatching. The incident took place at Toulouse and Basin streets and Henderson was arrested nearby.
Takisha Brown (DOB: 9/22/1980) for aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal discharge of a firearm. The incident occurred in the 3900 block of Downman Road, on April 8, 2017, and she was arrested in the 2500 block of St. Ann Street. Brown was also arrested on four outstanding municipal attachments from Orleans Parish.
Michael Goff (DOB: 9/9/1990) for aggravated battery by shooting. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Lafreniere Street and Goff was arrested on the scene.
Valence Morrel (DOB: 7/30/1972) for robbery. The incident took place in the 13800 block of Chef Highway and he was arrested in the 7400 block of Horizon Street.
Carl Henderson (DOB: 4-11-74) for property snatching. The incident took place at Toulouse and Basin streets and he was apprehended at the location.
Ni’Yobi Robinson (DOB: 4/19/03) for armed robbery. The incident occurred in the 3000 block of Toledano Street and Robinson was arrested at the scene.
May 4
Dwayne Davis (DOB: 12-10-69) for possession of firearm by a convicted felon, carrying of a concealed weapon by a person convicted of domestic abuse battery, and resisting an officer. The incident transpired at the intersection of Oleander and Joliet streets, and he was arrested at the scene. A Beretta 9mm semi-automatic handgun was also confiscated.
May 5
The VOWS Unit arrested four juveniles – ages 13, 14 and 16 – for attempted armed robbery with a firearm. The incident occurred at the intersection of Lake Forest and Read Boulevard on April 28, 2017, and they were arrested in the 3500 block of Trafalgar Street.
Roland Thomas (DOB: 5/181989) for possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I CDS narcotic (marijuana), illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegal carrying of a concealed weapon (gun), illegal possession of illegal narcotics while in possession of a concealed weapon. The incident and the arrest took place in the 500 block of Bourbon Street.
Trishonda Harris (DOB: 5-12-1988) for robbery. The incident transpired in the 1200 block of Decatur Street and Harris was arrested nearby.
May 6
Third District officers arrested two 14-year old juveniles for burglarizing a 1999 Acura in the 3600 block of Paris Avenue. The two were spotted burglarizing the vehicle they then fled on foot and entered a residence in the 3700 block of Bruxelles Street. Officers apprehended the subjects at the residence without incident.
May 7
Tu Nguyen (DOB: 10-16-1997) for aggravated battery by knife. The incident and arrest occurred in the 4900 block of Palace Street.
May 8
Randall Schaffer (DOB: 2/7/1992) for attempted second degree murder and illegal carrying of a firearm. The incident occurred in the 4200 block of General Ogden Street on April 5, 2017, and he was apprehended in the 4100 block of Touro Street. Schaffer was also arrested on a Probation Violation and a Criminal District Court Capias.
Matthew Givens (DOB: 2/20/1962) for aggravated assault with a firearm, home invasion, simple battery and simple criminal damage to property for an incident that took place in the 2100 block of Third Street on April 10, 2017. Givens was arrested in the 1400 block of North Broad.
David Hester (DOB: 6/24/1989) for domestic battery, simple robbery, auto theft, battery of a police officer, resisting an officer, stalking, unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling. He was apprehended in the 7900 block of Means Avenue.
Wesley Butler (DOB: 2/26/1988) for robbery. The incident took place in the 7500 block of Dearborn Drive on April 21, 2017. Butler was also arrested for domestic abuse battery.
May 9
Raekeda Wright (DOB: 4/17/1997) for second degree murder and attempted second degree murder. She was apprehended in the 4400 block of Kennon Avenue, and the incident occurred in the 1600 block of Spain Street on May 1, 2017.
Raju Neapollioun (DOB: 6/1/1984) for aggravated assault with a firearm. The incident occurred in the 6800 block of Morrison Road on April 4, 2017. Neapollioun was apprehended in the 2500 block of Constitution Place. He was also arrested for domestic abuse battery.
David Burns (DOB: 2/17/1955) for sexual battery. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Music Street, on April 18, 2017, and Burns was apprehended in the 100 block of Bourbon Street.
Drapper Goff (DOB: 03-02-1978) for two counts each of second degree kidnapping and aggravated assault, and one count each of armed robbery and felon in possession of a firearm. The incidents occurred in the 2000 block of Shalett Street and Goff was arrested at the scene.
May 10
Rain Jackson (DOB: 10/29/1981) for two counts of aggravated battery by cutting and aggravated assault. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Napoleon Avenue on May 1, 2017. Jackson was apprehended in the 6900 block of Yorktown Drive.
Truieshia Anderson (DOB: 06-08-1978) for aggravated battery. The incident took place in the 1600 block of Holiday Drive and she was arrested at the scene.
NOPD also arrested a 15-year-old juvenile for simple battery. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Napoleon Avenue on May 1, 2017, and she was apprehended in the 6900 block of Yorktown Drive.
