Suspect Wanted for Theft, Domestic Abuse Battery

The NOPD is searching for Roosevelt Collins also known as Derrick Johnson (DOB: 02/16/1965) for a theft and his involvement in a domestic incident.

The most recent incident occurred on April 12, 2017.  At around 2:30 p.m. the victim discovered her jewelry missing from her home in the 3300 block of Preston Place. Collins is wanted for questioning regarding the theft.

On May 5, 2015, Collins and a victim got into a verbal altercation in the 3500 block of Bennett Street. The victim told police Collins then began punching her in the face. The victim managed to escape and relocate to call police.
