UPDATE: Suspect Arrested for Fleeing Court, Aggravated Assault

 

Walter Jackson was apprehended on Monday July 17,2017 by the U.S. Marshalls Services.

 Jackson has also been identified as an offender of an aggravated assault with a firearm . 

On June 2, 2017 at around 1 a.m., the victim told police he was walking near the intersection of Haynes Boulevard and Vincent Street. The victim then heard a vehicle approach and recognized Jackson as the driver. Jackson then pulled out a silver and black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the victim.

The NOPD is looking to locate Walter Jackson (DOB: 10/21/1995) after he fled Criminal District Court on April 20, 2017.

Jackson fled the Courthouse after he learned he failed his drug test. Jackson was commanded by Chief Judge Benedict Willard to be arrested on a Court Capias.
