NOPD Seeking Person of Interest for Questioning in Shooting on Oliver White Avenue

The NOPD is seeking to question Darrin Barra (DOB: 06-03-1992), who is considered as a person of interest in the ongoing investigation into a shooting that occurred in the 3100 block of Oliver White Avenue on April 23, 2017.

At about 5:45 p.m. on April 23, the victim was reportedly sitting in his vehicle when an unknown black male approached and opened fire. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the face and left shoulder and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Barra is not considered a suspect in this incident. However, detectives believe that he may have information pertinent to the investigation.
