Motorcycle Reported Stolen from Derbigny Street

The NOPD is seeking to locate a motorcycle reported stolen from a residence in the 1500 block of Derbigny Street on May 10, 2017.

The victim told police that he parked his motorcycle – a black 2011 Honda CBR100RR Motorcyle bearing Louisiana license plate #MC605758, in the rear yard of a residence in the area. The yard is secured by a brick wall and wooden gate, which was left unsecured.

When the victim returned to the location on May 10 at about 8:30 a.m., the motorcycle was missing. The victim reported still having both sets of keys for the motorcycle in his possession.

A photo is included of a motorcycle similar in color, make and model to the vehicle reported stolen in this incident.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the location of the motorcycle reported stolen is asked to contact First District detectives at 504-658-6010. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
