Burglary Suspect Sought in Incident on General Collins Avenue

The NOPD is seeking information to assist in locating and identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for a burglary in the 2800 block of General Collins Avenue on May 8, 2017.

At about 4:30 a.m., the victim was asleep when an unknown subject entered her residence and removed property. The subject fled the scene when confronted by the victim. The subject was described as a black male believed with a slim build, standing about 5’5” to 5’8” and weighing about 140 pounds. The subject was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants or shorts and bright red shoes.
