Automobile Reported Stolen from Canal Street

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle reported as stolen from the 2700 block of Canal Street on May 17, 2017.

At about 8:30 a.m., the victim parked his vehicle – described as a gray 2003 Mitsubishi Galant four-door automobile bearing Louisiana license plate #114AHT – in the driveway of his residence, leaving the doors unsecured with the keys in the ignition and engine running while he went inside his residence. Upon returning a short time later, the victim observed an unknown subject had entered his vehicle and fled the location in the vehicle on Canal Street, turning onto Iberville Street.

A photo is included of a vehicle similar in year, color, make and model to the vehicle reported as stolen in this incident.
