The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Loys Lacey (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-07-1965) in the investigation of a package theft that occurred on March 22, 2023, in the 3100 block of Orleans Avenue.
Through investigation, NOPD Second District detectives determined that just after 4:00 p.m., Lacey allegedly stole packages from the victim’s porch and fled on a bicycle.
When located, Lacey will be arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespass.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
