The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault in the Fourth District.
On February 22, 2023 at about 7:00 p.m., the victim reported that while in the 3100 Block of Rue Parc Fontaine, they were approached by a subject who was armed with a firearm and then pointed it at the victim's stomach and fled.
Through investigation, Delesha Gaines, (pictured, black female DOB: 9-15-2000) was identified as the alleged perpetrator in this incident and is wanted for aggravated assault.
