NOPD Seeking Person of Interest for Questioning in 2021 Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in locating a subject for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide on March 1, 2021, at the intersection of South I-10 Service Road and Mayo Boulevard.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives have developed Jamar Johnson (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-12-1982) as a person of interest. Johnson is not wanted on criminal charged at this time. However, detectives feel that he has knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview him.
