The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Gail Jenkins Barard (pictured, black female, DOB: 07-18-1996) in the investigation of an aggravated battery by cutting incident on March 25, 2022 in the 2400 block of Annette Street.
At about 8:05 p.m. on March 25, Barard is believed to have been engaged in a verbal argument with the victim in front of the victim’s residence. The victim reportedly asked Barard to leave the location, at which time Barard allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the victim to the forearm.
When located, Barard will be arrested on a charge of aggravated battery.
