NOPD Arrests Suspects for Narcotics, Weapons Possession Charges in Fourth District

The NOPD arrested four suspects on March 16, 2022, in the 1600 block of Elizardi Boulevard after they were found to be in illegal possession of firearms and narcotics.

At about 11:09 a.m., NOPD Fourth District officers responded to a call of suspicious persons running through the 1600 block of Pace Boulevard while carrying firearms. Officers responded to the area, located and detained the individuals. During this time, officers found the subjects to be in possession of a loaded rifle with an obliterated serial number, a loaded handgun, gun ammunition and gun accessories, more than $700 cash, ski masks, multiple electronic scales, THC vape cartridges and approximately 1.35 pounds of vegetative matter positively identified as marijuana.

The arrested suspects (pictured, from left) and respective charges include:

  • Cyrus Lee (black male, DOB: 12-14-2001), charged with prohibited acts - Schedule I CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Darryl Alexander (black male, DOB: 11-18-2002), charged with illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of narcotics, prohibited acts – Schedule I CDS, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Erin Rodriguez (Hispanic male, DOB: 01-16-2001), charged with prohibited acts - Schedule I CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Cyre Lee (black male, DOB: 04-16-2003), charged with prohibited acts – Schedule I CDs, simple criminal damage to property, illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were booked accordingly into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
