Suspect Arrested in Fourth District Cutting Incident

The NOPD quickly arrested Keith Anthony Adams (pictured, male, DOB: 03-02-1967) in the investigation of an aggravated battery by cutting on March 4, 2021 in the 3300 block of Garden Oaks Drive.

At about 1:30 p.m. on March 4, the victim reported that the tires on his vehicle had been slashed. The victim then reportedly confronted Adams, who was allegedly armed with a knife. Adams then reportedly swung the knife at the victim, causing a laceration to the victim’s arm, and fled the scene. Responding officers located Adams walking in the nearby area and detained him. Adams was positively identified as the perpetrator and was placed under arrest. He was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for one count of aggravated battery and one count of simple criminal damage to property.
