NOPD Seeking to Question Person of Interest in Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a subject identified as a person of interest for questioning in the investigation of a homicide on March 3, 2021 in the 2200 block of North Claiborne Avenue.

The pictured subject – a black male attired in a dark green coat, black hat, hooded jacket and tan boots – was last seen fleeing the scene northbound on Marigny Street on a blue 24”-26” bicycle. He was last seen with the victim minutes before the victim was killed.

The subject is not wanted at this time for this incident. However, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives believe the subject has knowledge of information vital to the investigation and with to interview him.
