The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Damien Roshaud Jenkins (pictured, male, DOB: 07-11-1980) in the investigation of an aggravated assault with a firearm incident on March 9, 2021 in the 3600 block of General DeGaulle Drive.
Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives determined that at about 3:12 p.m., the victim pulled her vehicle into a parking lot at the location when a subject positively identified as Jenkins pulled up in a vehicle alongside the victim. Jenkins then allegedly made a threatening gesture with his hand implying that he would shoot the victim. The victim reportedly told Jenkins that she did not fear him, at which time Jenkins allegedly produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim before fleeing the scene. Jenkins was said to be driving a gray four-door Toyota Camry with unknown license plate.
