The victim told police that on March 18, 2019 at or around 8:05 p.m., she was sitting inside of her vehicle with her son and daughter in the back seat when an unknown black male subject knocked on the driver's side window, produced a black handgun and ordered the victim to exit the vehicle. The subject reportedly opened the rear driver's side door and pulled the victim’s daughter out of the vehicle.

The subject then entered the victim’s vehicle and put the vehicle in reverse, at which time the victim ran to the back passenger side of the vehicle to remove her son, who was still strapped into his car seat. The subject then fled the scene heading eastbound on Coventry Street and then southbound on Sheffield Street.
