Suspect Wanted for Residential Burglary on Constance Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating the pictured subject after his alleged involvement in a residential burglary that occurred in the 2800 block of Constance Street.

The victim told police that on February 15, 2019, at or around 8 p.m., he left the front door of the residence open and unlocked. Upon returning to the residence minutes later, the victim was made aware that two purses that were previously lying on the couch were missing.

During the course of the investigation, officers obtained screenshots of surveillance footage which showed an unknown black male subject, wearing a light colored hoodie, light colored jeans and a light colored knit cap, with a backpack entering the open front door of the residence around 8:07 p.m. The screen shots also showed the subject leaving the residence holding two purses in his left hand.

Anyone with any information that can help Sixth District detectives identify and locate the pictured subject should call 504-658-6060. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
