Suspect Sought by NOPD for Eighth District Pickpocketing Incident

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subject after her alleged involvement in a pickpocketing incident that occurred in the Eighth District.

The reporting person told police that on February 7, 2019, at or around 3 a.m., he was at the intersection of Bienville and Dauphine streets when he was approached by the pictured subject, who offered to return to his hotel room with him. The subject reportedly began rubbing and touching the victim’s body, at which time the victim refused and the subject quickly walked away. The victim reportedly checked his person and discovered his wallet was missing.

Through further investigation, the pictured subject was observed on surveillance video exiting from the passenger side of a red SUV, possibly a Nissan Xterra. The perpetrator is described as a black female, 5’10 tall, and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans with straight black hair.
