Subject Wanted for Illegal Possession of Stolen Property and Simple Assault

NOPD officers are searching for Patrick Dennis (DOB: 07/23/1963), after he was accused of being in illegal possession of stolen property and assaulting a victim in the 4500 block of MacArthur Boulevard.

The victim told police that on March 7, 2019, at or around 7:45 a.m., he placed a package outside of his residence to be picked up by UPS and returned to Amazon. Shortly after, the victim reportedly observed the package in Dennis’ possession.

The victim advised officers that he observed Dennis hand the package to an unknown black male. The victim reportedly confronted Dennis about the missing package, at which time Dennis denied any involvement in the theft of the package.

Dennis reportedly approached the victim’s residence and denied taking the package for a second time and attempted to strike the victim, before fleeing the scene.

Dennis was last seen wearing a red, white and blue tank top shirt, khaki pants, with a red white and blue bandanna around his head.

Anyone with any information regarding Patrick Dennis’ whereabouts should notify Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
