Persons of Interest Sought in Aggravated Battery by Cutting Incident

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subjects, who are believed to have valuable information regarding an aggravated battery by cutting incident that occurred in the Eighth District.

The victim told police that on February 22, 2019, at or around 9:30 p.m., he was sitting on his front porch, located in the 900 block of Decatur Street, when he observed two unknown white males fighting a few feet away from where he was located.

The victim reportedly tried to stop the subjects from fighting, at which time the victim sustained two knife wounds from one of the subjects. The victim advised officers that after he realized he had been stabbed, he observed the same subject that stabbed him, stab the subject he was fighting. The victim was transported to University Medical Center to receive treatment for his injuries.

During the course of the investigation, officers learned that the subjects pictured above were present during the time of the crime. The pictured subjects are not wanted for this incident. However, detectives believe the subjects may have valuable information regarding this incident and would like to conduct an interview with the subjects.
