The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a handgun reported stolen during a vehicle burglary in the 100 block of Iberville Street on March 10, 2019.
The pictured Sig Sauer 9MM SP 2022 bearing serial number 24B372188 was stolen during an auto burglary which is believed to have occurred at or about 8:30 a.m. in a parking garage in the 100 block of Iberville Street. The driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle was found shattered, and the handgun was found to have been taken from the vehicle’s glove compartment.
For reference purposes, a photo is included of a handgun similar in color, make and model to the handgun reported stolen in this incident.
