The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate two suspects for their involvement in an auto burglary incident that occurred on February 25, 2019 in the 2200 block of Iberville Street.

At approximately 10:00 a.m., the victim reportedly parked her vehicle in the driveway of her residence and went inside of the residence for several minutes. The individual pictured in the light gray hooded sweatshirt was captured via the victim’s vehicle camera entering her vehicle. The perpetrator possibly attempted to put the vehicle into gear, but was unable to do so because the vehicle has a standard transmission. A passerby observed the perpetrator in the vehicle and yelled at him, causing the perpetrator to flee. However, the perpetrator was able to grab the victim's purse, which contained several credit cards and her Microsoft Surface tablet.

The victim's stolen credit cards were later used at a Foot Action store in the 4200 block of Chef Menteur Highway by the second pictured perpetrator, believed to be a female.

Surveillance video of the perpetrator in the light-colored sweatshirt can be viewed above.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or either of the pictured suspects is asked to contact NOPD First District detectives at 504-658-6010, or call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
