NOPD Identifies Suspect in Aggravated Burglary, Domestic Abuse Battery in Fourth District

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Dominic Nevil (DOB: 10-15-1984) in the investigation of an aggravated burglary and domestic abuse battery incident that occurred on March 14, 2019 in the 800 block of Woodland Drive.

At about 9:35 p.m., Nevil allegedly entered the victim’s residence without authorization. He then reportedly threw the victim to the ground and immediately armed himself with a handgun. The subject then allegedly pointed the handgun at the victim’s face and threatened her, after discovering she had obtained a protective order against him. Nevil then reportedly fled the scene.

NOPD Fourth District detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Nevil on charges of aggravated burglary and domestic abuse battery in this incident.
