The NOPD is seeking information that can assist in identifying and locating an individual seen on surveillance video in commission of a vehicle burglary in the 2000 block of Hyman Place on March 6, 2018.

The victim told police that her vehicle was parked in the rear of her house under a carport for the evening on March 5. When she awoke at about 4:30 a.m. on March 6, she saw security system monitor alerts on her cell phone. Upon viewing surveillance footage, the victim said, she saw an unknown male walk up to her vehicle at about 3:44 a.m. and open the unlocked front driver’s side door. The subject was then seen rummaging through the vehicle, appearing to place something in his back pocket before leaving the scene.
