Theft Incident Reported in Sixth District

The NOPD is searching for the pictured subject who was captured on surveillance video stealing a victim’s property from a business.

On Monday, March 12, 2018, at or about 7 p.m., six subjects entered a Boost Mobile store located in the 1800 block of Rousseau Street. One of the subjects requested assistance setting up a cellphone. The victim told police she placed her taser under her desk and walked to the rear of the store.

When the victim returned she discovered the taser was missing from the desk and all six subjects were exiting the location. The subjects fled the scene heading down St. Mary Street.

The perpetrator in this incident is described as a black male, early 20s, medium build, wearing black sweatpants, a white camisole top, gray sweater, and a black hair bonnet.
