Suspect Wanted in Attempted Burglary Incident

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subject who is wanted for his involvement in an attempted burglary incident.

The incident was reported on Monday, (March 26) at or about 12:41 p.m. The reporting person told police he arrived at the business located in the 3300 block of N. Galvez Street and noticed the door handle to his storage was broken and the rear door to the business damaged.

The subject was captured on surveillance video attempting to gain entry to the business. He used an object to pry open the door to the business, but was unsuccessful. The individual fled the location in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’0 tall, wearing long pants, a long sleeve knit jacket with white Nike tennis.
