NOPD Seeking Suspect for Illegal Possession of Stolen Things

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a suspect wanted for illegal possession of stolen things in connection with an auto theft incident that occurred on February 11, 2018 in the 3300 block of Plymouth Place.

David Wesley Kennedy (DOB: 03-14-1984) was found to have sold the victim’s motorcycle – which was reported stolen in the auto theft incident – on the Craigslist website to a witness. The witness then notified the victim of the situation, and the witness later positively identified Kennedy as the person who sold him the stolen motorcycle. Fourth District detectives were then able to obtain an arrest warrant for Kennedy for illegal possession of stolen property.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of David Wesley Kennedy is asked to contact Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-7867.
