The NOPD is searching for a dark blue 2003 Mitsubushi Outlander that was stolen during a carjacking incident that occurred at or about 2 a.m. on Saturday, March 10.
The incident happened in the 1400 block of Esplanade Ave. The victim told police she and her son were loading a bicycle in the rear of the vehicle when an unknown male subject approached them and demanded the keys to the vehicle. The subject took the keys and fled the location in the victim’s vehicle bearing Louisiana license plate # 858AUT heading northbound on Esplanade Avenue.
