The NOPD is investigating an aggravated battery by shooting in the Seventh District that claimed the life of one man and wounded another.
Seventh District officers responded to a call of shots fired on Acadian Place just after 8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital by EMS where one of the victims later died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
